Read on as we explain how to get a 49ers vs Cowboys live stream and watch the NFL playoffs online from anywhere.

San Fran snuck into the playoffs via the back door, but a very favorable draw means they can hardly be considered underdogs. The Cowboys are extremely vulnerable on the ground, allowing 4.5 yards per rush attempt, though Kyle Shanahan is sweating over the fitness of his top rusher, Elijah Mitchell.

Then again, if Mitchell is limited, Jimmy Garoppolo also has Deebo Samuel and George Kittle to aim for.

Dak Prescott is on fire, leading Dallas to more than 50 points in two of their last three, but he faces a mean 49ers rush that will be brimming with confidence after their performance at the Rams last weekend.

This has the potential to be the best game of the playoffs so far, so follow our guide for how to watch the 49ers vs Cowboys online and get an NFL live stream wherever you are in the world right now.

Rookies traditionally don't win playoff games, but with The Hoody in his corner, Mac Jones could well beat the odds.

The Pats prevailed over the Bills in awful conditions last month by going ALL-IN on their ground game. Though the wind isn't expected to be as much of a factor as it was then, Sean McDermott should beware any dastardly schemes from his opposite.

The Bills have been consistently inconsistent this season, and the hope has always been that they would come good in the playoffs. That time has arrived, and Josh Allen should be perfectly suited to taking on a defense that has struggled to stop the run this season.

But this game really could go either way, so follow our guide on how to watch the Patriots vs Bills online and get an NFL live stream wherever you are in the world right now.

Joe Smith Jr. will be putting his WBO light heavyweight belt for the first time, as the native New Yorker finally steps into the ring tonight for his maiden title defence on home turf. Read on as we explain how to watch a Joe Smith Jr vs Steve Geffrard live stream today and catch all the boxing action online from anywhere in the world.

Smith claimed the WBO light heavyweight crown last April after defeating Maxim Vlasov via majority decision - a win that took his career record to 27-3 with 21 KOs.

The 32-year-old had been scheduled to face Umar Salamov as his first defence back in October, only for that date to be nixed after the Long Islander tested positive for Covid. Their rescheduled meeting was due to take place tonight, but Salamov was forced to pull out after failing to obtain a visa from his native Russia in time.

Callum Johnson was drafted in as Salamov's replacement, but the British former 175-pound title challenger was also forced to drop out earlier this week after contracting coronavirus.

That means opportunity knocks for short-notice stand-in Steve Geffrard. The 31 year-old is unbeaten since 2013 with a 18-2 record that includes 12 knockouts, but his main credential coming into this fight appears to be his experience as a spar partner for unbeaten unified 175-pound beltholder Artur Beterbiev.

You can watch all of the action from New York unfold, no matter where you are, by following our guide below to watch a Smith Jr vs Geffrard live stream online from anywhere.

This may be a meeting beween the AFC's No.4 and No.5 seeds, two franchises that share the same 10-7 record, but at their best the Bengals look like genuine contenders, whereas the Raiders were always hoping to make the playoffs and then see what happens.

Derek Carr has had to shepherd Las Vegas through scandal and tragedy this season, and many of their wins have come in truly sensational style, not least their victory over the Chargers last Sunday. This could become an underdog story for the ages, and if Maxx Crosby has another one of his monster days, they could neutralise Joe Burrow.

The Bengals' sophomore QB and stud rookie WR Ja’Marr Chase have been blowing opponents away, but a combination of dodgy protection and erratic decision-making means Burrow has the dubious honor of being the most-sacked QB in the NFL, having been taken down 51 times.

Latest Tech News

New research from the Energy Efficiency Infrastructure Group (EEIG) has found that poor insulation is costing British households huge sums of money each year.

The group, which includes business organisations and charities, has claimed that each household in Britain could save more than £500 a year on their energy bills purely though improved insulation. As a result, they’re calling on the government to prioritise energy saving through home improvements.

The government is currently under a great deal of pressure to help struggling households pay for their energy bills. The cost of energy has skyrocketed in the last 12 months, and customers are now paying hundreds of pounds more for their bills. Sadly, customers are currently also being told that they shouldn’t use an online energy comparison tool to switch suppliers and tariffs. This is because the best energy deals available from the country’s best energy suppliers cannot beat the current price cap.

However, later this year, experts predict that the new price cap will likely rise even further. Potentially by up to £900. As a result, the government is currently exploring ways to support households who are struggling to make payments.

What does the EEIG recommend?

The EEIG, which includes the CBI, Kingfisher, Energy Savings Trust and the green group WWF, says that multiple governments have been partly at fault for the ongoing energy crisis because they’ve failed to make sure that Britain’s homes are adequately insulated.

EEIG chairwoman Sarah Kostense-Winterton said: “The cost-of-living crisis is being driven by soaring gas prices… A permanent solution to lower bills is by reducing demand through energy efficiency measures.

“Emergency short-term measures for the most vulnerable households are crucial, but it's fundamental for the government to simultaneously focus on the long term to avoid futures crises.

“Green home retrofits have significant social, environmental and economic co-benefits, and stand out as a 'no regrets' solution to the energy crisis, climate crisis, and levelling up agenda.”

According to recent research, Britain has the coldest and leakiest housing stock in Western Europe, and this has left residents particularly exposed to spikes in gas prices. As a direct result of this, the EEIG is asking the government to provide additional support for vulnerable households in order to prevent a fuel poverty emergency.

It believes that the government should expand the Warm Home Discount Scheme and bolster the Energy Company Obligation (ECO). This requires energy suppliers to help low-income households to fit energy-saving measures.

In the longer term, the EEIG is also calling for a new £3.6bn grant or subsidy scheme to help all households insulate their homes. At the moment, the EEIG maintains that two-thirds of households have no financial support for insulation, even though insulation is a vital part of the strategy to cut carbon emissions.

How can I cut my bills right now?

If rising energy bills are causing concern in your household, then there are ways that you can cut costs. These include:

Some vulnerable households can also get a share of the £500m Household Support Fund that is allocated to local councils to help with covering the costs of domestic bills. On top of this, the country’s energy suppliers are continuing to talk to the government and the Department for Business about ways the government could help the most vulnerable households.

Apple's unannounced, unproven thing has been unofficially delayed to an unannounced later date, unnamed sources might have said Friday -- and the cost of the new device is set to skyrocket, as well.

Apple has been secretly digging into the hot new technology for several years, according to anonymous leakers frequently cited in vague technology reports. A series of unvalidated and unverifiable stories support the idea that Apple is deeply invested in the new technology, which leverages buzzworthy unnamed tech jargon to build an entirely new class of gizmo -- though what exactly it is remains utterly unclear.

But due to unforeseen manufacturing challenges, Apple won’t be able to hit an internal, unannounced shipping deadline - meaning fans of the uncertain technology will be forced to wait before buying it.

“Apple Inc. is considering pushing back the debut of its hot new device by at least a few months, potentially delaying its first major new product since the Apple Watch in 2015, according to people familiar with the situation,” the loosely supported report claims. “That could push the announcement until the end of 2022 or later, with the product hitting shelves by 2023, the people said,” the report further claimed.

Citing an unavailable analyst report, related reports reportedly reported that supply chain issues in China were impacting an unnamed supplier’s ability to ship parts, further leading to challenges bringing the new technology to market. The often-cited analyst behind the report believed the cost of the next-gen tech device would increase by at least 10% - and that increase wouldn’t impact sales of the device.

“We believe there is still an enormous market for this device,” the analyst reportedly said, predicting sales of 15 to 20 million units in the first year alone.

When pressed for comment, an Apple spokesman who refused to be named on the record neither confirmed nor denied the report. On background, the unnamed spokesman implied that Apple is always investigating new technologies, a vague fact he refused to substantiate and declined to elaborate on any further.

We will continue monitoring the situation and will update this story when new details emerge.

Apple’s hotly-anticipated mixed reality headset – which would combine both virtual and augmented reality experiences – could now be delayed until 2023.

Apple had yet to officially confirm the existence of the headset and its release date. However, multiple leaks and rumors indicated that the Apple MR headset would launch in 2022 – likely as part of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference lineup in June.

Unfortunately, Bloomberg is reporting that sources close to the project believe this may no longer be the case. It's claimed that the headset is now expected to launch next year due to delays caused by continuing development issues.

The sources specifically claim that the MR headset’s problems are related to overheating, cameras and software.

It’s not yet clear whether this supposed delay will also impact the Apple Glasses, which are rumored to launch sometime after the Apple headset. However, given that leaks suggest the two projects have been linked throughout their development we wouldn’t be surprised if the Glasses have also been affected by these same challenges.

We’re not entirely surprised by the delay. From what we’ve heard so far about the MR headset it sounds like Apple may have bitten off more than it can chew. It’s supposedly aiming to create a premium-level, feature-heavy, wireless device that's as powerful as a Macbook Pro but weighs less than a third of the weight of the Oculus Quest 2 – all during a global pandemic.

There’s also a chance these delays could be caused by Apple changing its approach to VR, AR and MR. We’ve previously heard that Apple wants its headset to only be used in short bursts – with insiders saying this is because of its opposition towards the metaverse.

However, the prevalence of metaverse tech at CES 2022 earlier this month and widespread consumer and business interest in the topic may have encouraged Apple executives to reconsider their stance.

We’ll have to wait and see what Apple has in store for us when it finally releases an MR headset – though it sounds like we might be waiting a little longer than we thought.

Almost three-quarters of all Apple iPhone models introduced in the last four years have been upgraded to iOS 15, according to data provided by Apple on one of its developer support pages (as spotted by Apple Insider).

It's an adoption rate that is slower than previous iOS updates. By December of 2020 Apple reported that 81% of iPhones released in the prior four years were running iOS 14, which had launched with the iPhone 12 just two months prior.

Possibly more worrisome is that just 63% of all iOS devices capable of running iOS 15 are doing so. In 2020, the number was at 72%.

If you leave aside all the iPhone 13's sold in the last quarter, a number sure to be in the millions, that leaves a larger group of consumers who are simply ignoring the notifications encouraging them to upgrade their devices to iOS 15.

As to why some consumers might be holding back, it's unlikely that any are concerned with performance or stability. iOS 15 has been relatively bug free and, in our experience, brings a nice upgrade to current and even older iPhones.

It might be some of the interface changes, specifically, the redesigned Safari, which moved the address bar from the top of the Web interface to the bottom. It's a controversial-enough change that some are offering tips on how to revert iOS's Safari to the original interface design. Maybe it's the updated Focus features, which can be too aggressive if you don't dial them back.

It might also just be that people are happy with iOS 14, the mobile platform they quickly adopted back in 2020.

These numbers are in no way a cause for concern in Cupertino, however. Apple iOS adoption rates still far outstrip those of Android updates. Last year, Google reported that the majority of Android Phone users were still running out-of-date versions of the popular mobile operating system: 24.2% were running Android 11, 18.2 % were running Android 9, and 13.7% were running Android 8, and 26.5% were running Android 12 (the latest version).

Obviously, Google's Android does not have the same level of hardware control as Apple, which develops iOS and makes all its own phones. Android is spread across myriad hardware manufacturers, which work with carriers that do not always immediately deliver that latest mobile OS to their customers' phones.

Even so, Apple's ability to attract almost three-quarters of those running most of the latest iPhone hardware to its latest iOS is something of an achievement. Are the numbers a little lower than usual? Sure. Is Apple worried? We doubt it.
