Infinix Hot 10S has gone on sale in India for the first time. This is the company's third device in the Hot 10 series in India. During the first sale, you can avail Rs 500 discount. 

The Infinix Hot 10S is currently the cheapest phone in India with a 90Hz screen refresh rate display and is also one of the few phones in the sub Rs 10,000 segment to come with the same. The device was launched in India last week.

The Infinix Hot 10S is priced at Rs 9,999 for the 4GB+64GB and Rs 10,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant. The device is available in four colours options一 Heart of Ocean, Morandi Green, 7-Degree Purple and 95-Degree Black. The phone will go on sale in India starting May 27. 

During the first sale, the device will be available for Rs 500 less which means you can buy the Infinix Hot 10S 4GB variant for Rs 9,499 and the 6GB variant for Rs 10,499.

The Infinix Hot 10S comes with a 6.82-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. As for the performance, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset along with MediaTek gaming suite. The device will be available in two variants 一 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB along with support for expandable storage up to 256GB. 

In terms of camera, the device comes with a 48MP main camera, a 2MP lens, and an AI lens in terms of camera. Selfies are handled by an 8MP shooter on the front.

The Infinix Hot 10S is backed by a big 6,000mAh battery with 10W support. Furthermore, the Infinix Hot 10S is also the first phone to launch with Android 11 out of the box. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Google’s Fuchsia OS has been in development since 2016. For a long time, it had an air of mystery surrounding it and no one actually knew how this OS will pan out. However, it was in December last year when Google made the operating system public, we heard some sort of official information about this OS.

All of a sudden now, Google has announced that this built-from-scratch operating system will power the first-generation Nest Hub. The software update that is rolling out now will replace the Linux-based Cast OS powering the Nest hub that was released first in 2018 with Fuchsia OS.

Google has stated that thanks to Flutter, while users will not realize any difference since all the features on the Nest Hub will remain the same, the operating system powering the smart home device will get updated.

In terms of availability, since the rollout is happening in a phased manner, it may take months for all the Nest Hub devices to run on the same platform. Google is reportedly, prioritizing the update for users who signed up on the Preview Program. This will give Google enough time to test the operating system thoroughly, before going for a wider rollout. 

What is Google’s Fuchsia OS? 

As mentioned above, Fuchsia OS is built from the scratch operating system. It, unlike Android that runs on a Linux kernel, runs on Google’s microkernel called Zircon.

It was initially built as an experiment and though Google had remained tight-lipped about it for a long time, Google made the operating system open source and invited the developers to contribute to the project to build a new and secure operating system that is not built on Linux.

Google has also announced that Fuchsia is not going to replace Android, however, it can support all Android applications. The company has reportedly tested the operating system on a wide range of products that includes Chromebooks and other smart home products.

With that being said, Google is still holding the cards tight when it comes to Fuchsia OS. The initial rollout on the three-year-old smart display without any change in the user interface suggests that the company wants to play safe when it comes to public rollout.

And while Google denies, since the operating system has been designed to run on multiple devices like laptops and smartphones apart from smart devices and the fact that it can run Android applications natively, there is a probability that Fuchsia might power all Google devices in the future. But, we will have to wait.

Friends: The Reunion is one day away from being released.  Long-time fans of the pop-cultural phenomenon are gearing up to reunite with their six favorite fictional buddies, with 'The One Where They Got Back Together' set to arrive today.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are returning for the unscripted special, which will look back at the series' best moments and why it was such a universal hit in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The one-off episode, which will also see guest appearances, table reads and a lengthy sit-down chat with host James Corden, is due to be released on Binge and Foxtel Now on Thursday, May 27.

What time is Friends: The Reunion released on Binge?

For Aussie viewers, Friends: The Reunion will launch on Binge on Thursday, May 27 at 5:02pm AEST.

Friends: The Reunion will be available to Binge subscribers. If you wish to watch it when it does arrive on the Binge streaming platform, you will need to sign up for a subscription.
