The new Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is as polarizing as smartphones get, with the entire design meant to handle the phone horizontally and components placed in the centre. However, that might just be its weakest point too – figuratively and literally.
Unveiled on April 8, the Lenovo Legion Phone 2 is one of the most over-the-top smartphones of the season — gaming or otherwise — with a side-ways pop-up camera, cooling fans, multiple ultrasonic triggers for gaming, a 144Hz display, dual stereo speakers and RGB lighting. Similar to the Asus ROG Phone 5, it has a redesigned internal structure with battery cells on the top and bottom, and the chipset and cameras in the centre. As ingenious as that is, it brings in other challenges such as lower durability.
YouTuber Zack aka JerryRigEverything uploaded a video to his YouTube channel, testing the Lenovo Legion Phone 2’s durability with his usual slew of scratch, burn and bend tests. While the Lenovo Legion Phone 2 did fine in the first two, it broke in two during the latter – and in three when he tried a little harder. Interestingly, the Gorilla Glass 5 display did not break.
The central camera mound, which also houses the selfie camera, cooling fans and the processor stack. On either side of the island is a 2,750mAh cell, which can be charged at up to 45W individually and a whopping 90W via dual-turbo charging. Unfortunately for the Lenovo Legion Phone 2, plastic cutouts for the antenna bands are also located at the intersection of these two parts.
With most modern phones made of metal, they need to have sections made of plastic to let the antennas latch on to a network. On the Lenovo Legion Phone 2, the antenna lines are placed right opposite each other, bringing the two weak points on the same plane. With no internal reinforcement or a solid battery across the centre holding things in place, the phone did not survive the durability test.
It needs to be noted that such tests are pretty extreme in nature, and unlikely to be matched in real-life usage. As a Lenovo Legion Phone 2 user, unless you try this stunt yourself, sit on it all the time, or never use a case, you should be fine.
Chinese electric vehicle maker Arcfox has announced that it is working on a luxury electric vehicle that will feature Huawei's Harmony OS. The operating system is necessary for running the vehicle among other things, which constitutes a major chunk of being an electric vehicle.
This new vehicle has been named Arcfox Alpha S HBT where the HBT stands for Huawei Bluepark Together. This is set to be the first vehicle ever to receive HI solution for self-driving EVs.
The Arcfox Alpha S HBT will apparently feature a combination of Huawei systems. A WeChat post made by BAIC Blue Park New Energy Technology, Arcfox’s owning company shared some key details about how the automotive systems of the car would be working.
The Arcfox Alpha S HBT is set to come with HiCar smart display along with lidar technology which will be connected by high-speed 5G connectivity to provide level-3 autonomous driving. This was communicated through the teaser that the company shared on Weibo.
As for the self-driving capabilities of the car, the company says that it would require the attention of the driver in most cases, as they may have to intervene to ensure an accident does not happen.
The Arcfox AlphaS HBT will be showcased at the Shangai Motor Show that is set for April 17 and will be joined by three other vehicles from the company. According to a spokesperson, "It is a next-generation, intelligent and purely electric luxury sedan jointly built by Arcfox and Huawei."
As for Huawei, its rotating chairman Ken Hu confirmed that the company does not plan to develop and market their own vehicles, and will collaborate with other car makers to provide the Huawei HI system.
While the software giant first released a 64-bit version of Windows back in 2003, up until now users could only access a 32-bit version of the software to store their files, photos and other documents. The problem with running 32-bit software on a 64-bit version of Windows 10 is that 32-bit programs can only access 4GB of system memory even on systems with higher amounts of memory.

By making OneDrive available as a native 64-bit application, users will likely see a performance increase as the software can now use more of their available RAM.
64-bit OneDrive
In a new blog post, Microsoft's Ankita Kirti explained that the new 64-bit version of OneDrive will make it easier to transfer large files, saying:
“The 64-bit version is the right choice if you plan to use large files, if you have a lot of files, and if you have a computer that's running a 64-bit version of Windows. Computers running 64-bit versions of Windows generally have more resources—such as processing power and memory—than their 32-bit predecessors. Also, 64-bit applications can access more memory than 32-bit applications (up to 18.4 million Petabytes).”
It's also worth noting that at the moment the 64-bit version of OneDrive is only available for systems running Intel or AMD processors. For now, users with ARM64 devices will need to continue using the 32-bit version of the software.
Update:There was a limited Walmart Xbox Series X restock today, April 8. Miss it? Our Xbox restock Twitter tracker will alert you about a console drop tomorrow – if there is one from Best Buy.
Our Xbox Series X restock Twitter tracker is often the first to know when Best Buy, Walmart, Antonline and other US stores will have the Microsoft console back in stock. Matt Swider has helped more than 13,000 people get a next-gen console in recent weeks. While the Target didn't happen today, there was a limited Xbox Series X restock at Walmart and we just saw stock at GameStop on Tuesday and on Wednesday. Best Buy seems like the most likely for a PS5 drop on Friday, April 9, but that's far from confirmed.
To get advance notice, follow Matt Swider, our Xbox restock tracker:

Our Xbox Series X restock alerts look like this (for example):
Update: There's unlikely to be a Target Xbox Series X restock on Thursday, April 8, according to our sources. It's been four weeks since the retailer has had the Xbox back in stock – Thursday, March 11. It's had two PS5 restock events since then, which seems rather lopsided. The only retailers to favor the Xbox have been Walmart and Amazon recently.
Here's our Target Xbox Series X restock alert from Thursday, March 11:

The Xbox Series X restock at Walmart and Best Buy didn't happen as expected last week, and we know of new inventory at Best Buy warehouses. That's good news if you're eager to buy Xbox Series X in April. Stores in the US are stockpiling the Microsoft consoles, and we hope to see it from Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon; all are now overdue for a restock.
We usually see Xbox Series X orders open up at Best Buy on Fridays at 12pm EDT / 11am CDT / 10am MDT / 9am PDT, or a few minutes after that time. We've seen it as late as 3:15pm EDT once, however, Best Buy completely missed this window. There's now more hope that it'll have an even bigger restock on Friday, April 9.
GameStop Xbox Series X restock date
Rumored Xbox restock date: Later this week or early next week
The GameStop Xbox restock did happen, but it wasn't the Microsoft console we had wanted. Only Xbox Series S bundles were in stock on Tuesday, April 6. GameStop has a restock cadence of every week to week-and-a-half, and the last drop Xbox drops haven't contained the Xbox Series X, so we're unsure how this fits into the retailer's pattern. All we know is that we're due some Series X consoles soon.
Note: GameStop routinely restricts its Xbox Series X restock to bundles, and while it can cost more, it makes buying the new Xbox much easier because resellers have a more difficult time profiting from the packed-in games and accessories (which are all readily available). We usually know in advance when a GameStop restock happens.

Walmart Xbox Series X restock date
Probable Xbox restock date: Maybe Thursday, April 15 at 2:30pm EDT
Last Xbox restock date: Thursday, April 8 at 2:30pm EDT
No Walmart Xbox Series X restock happened on Thursday, April 1 at 2:30pm EDT / 11:30am PDT, even if the retailer has been doing every other Thursday for the last month, and we don't expect another restock this week. Looking more broadly, it does have a one-month gap between cycles, so we might not see the Xbox Series X back in stock before Thursday, April 15, according to that broader pattern. The next PS5 Walmart restock date will almost certainly rely on how much inventory it has at its warehouses, meaning its cadence can change.
Here's what our last Walmart Xbox stock alert looked like on March 18:

We saw a surprise Xbox Series X restock at Amazon on Tuesday, March 23, and our restock tracker sent out an alert as soon as it happened. Even with that, the restock lasted just two minutes for the Series X. We also saw the Series S in stock it lasted a bit longer, but it has since sold out. There have only been a handful of Amazon Xbox restock dates since the console launched in November 2020, so we're unsure of when it'll be back in stock. We'll update this section when we know more.
New: We've been told by one source that they've seen more Xbox Series X consoles in warehouses that PS5 consoles, so we may actually be due another round of the Microsoft console before we ever see another restock from its biggest rival.

Microsoft Xbox Series X restock date
Potential Xbox restock date: This week, but minutes at time
The official Microsoft Xbox store often has the Series X console in stock throughout the week, however, it sells out in three minutes or less, according to our restock Twitter tracker account.
The secret: some people either cancel their orders midway through the process, or their credit card gets rejected, so do keep refreshing when we send out the Xbox restock alert. You may get lucky in scooping up a console that gets kicked back into the inventory system after five or fifteen minutes.

Antonline Xbox Series X restock date
Next restock date: Maybe in a week or two
Last Xbox Series X restock dates: Wednesday, April 7
Before that:Wednesday, March 17
Wait time: Online only, fast shipping (sells out quickly)
Today, April 7 marks three weeks since we got an Xbox Series X restock at Antonline, and the online store may be gearing up for another loaded bundle. The official word from the American retailer is that it does a next-gen restock every week, and while we saw a PS5 restock yesterday, we're overdue for a Xbox restock today.
Antonline ships consoles fast and it doesn't play games with its add to cart button like other Xbox Series X restock locations. This means you have about three minutes from the time Matt Swider sends his tweet to actually buy it.

There are memorable marketing campaigns and there are those that fall flat as is the case with the latest campaign from the website builder and web hosting company Wix.
In its new cryptic marketing campaign titled “You Deserve Better”, the company takes direct aim at the hugely popular content management system (CMS) WordPress.
Wix's campaign began with the company sending out noise-canceling headphones from Bose to prominent WordPress users and influencers. The boxes these headphones arrived in featured a QR code that recipients could scan to view a short video in which a man in a brown blazer personified WordPress.
In the video itself, the man warns WordPress users in a top secret message that Wix is launching a campaign trashing WordPress but that they shouldn't worry as this is just fake news. The recipients of the headphones were left even more confused by the fact that the box was signed “Yours, WP” which made it appear that the gift was coming from WordPress as opposed to Wix.
You Deserve Better
Following the release of the first video sent to WordPress influencers, Wix has now released an additional six videos that all take aim at common WordPress problems.
These videos touch on some of the downsides of using the world's most popular CMS such as hackers, the update button, conflicting WordPress plugins, constant updates, the White Screen of Death and having to turn to self-help tutorials for support.
Unlike the first video though, the rest of the videos feature both a WordPress developer and the man personifying the CMS. The pair appear to be in a therapy session in which the developer is having a hard time dealing with WordPress issues. In one video, the developer even makes a reference to Apple's old PC vs Mac ads and explains that WordPress vs Wix is nothing like it.
So far Wix's negative ads have been met with disapproval from both developers and even WordPress' founder Matt Mullenweg who took to his personal blog to respond to the campaign, saying:
"I have a lot of empathy for whoever was forced to work on these ads, including the actors, it must have felt bad working on something that’s like Encyclopedia Britannica attacking Wikipedia. WordPress is a global movement of hundreds of thousands of volunteers and community members, coming together to make the web a better place. The code, and everything you put into it, belongs to you, and its open source license ensures that you’re in complete control, now and forever."
