JAYS, the Swedish audio accessories brand, has expanded its freedom series by launching the Jays f-Five true wireless earbuds in India. Apart from a unique and a tongue twister of a name, the f-Five TWS offer up to four hours of playback, which is expected from buds in this price range. 

The bundled charging case can offer up to three more charge cycles, offering up to 16 hours of playback time in all.   

The JAYS f-Five TWS comes with a stem-based design that can be seen in most headphones in the market currently and offers a better in-call audio experience. The touch controls housed on the stem can also be used to control volume or to summon voice assistants like Siri or Google Assistant.

Amazon has slashed the price of 23andMe home DNA test kits for Prime Day, cutting the price of the Health and Ancestry Service by 50%. 

This is the most comprehensive of 23andMe's kits, covering both genealogy and health concerns. When you receive your results, you'll be able to see a map showing where your ancestors are likely to have come from, plus DNA relatives (people who share DNA with you, and have taken a 23andMe test).

You can also see if you're predisposed to certain medical conditions and if you're a carrier for a condition that could be passed down to your children. This part of the test also gives you some fun facts about your personal traits, including whether you're likely to have freckles or experience motion sickness.

23andMe Health and Ancestry Service: £148.99 £74 at Amazon
23andMe is one of the biggest names in home DNA testing, and for good reason: its tests are simple to use, its privacy policies are robust, and its results are detailed and easy to interpret. The Health and Ancestry Service covers both genealogy (showing where your ancestors hail from geographically, plus DNA relatives) and health (which includes predisposition to certain medical conditions).

Preparing and submitting the test is easy; just provide a saliva sample (the kit includes a container with a funnel to make this less messy) and close the cap to release a preserving agent, then register the test, apply the label provided and send it off in the post. The cost of postage is included in the price of the test.

This is the best price we've seen for this excellent DNA test kit, and although it might be repeated for Black Friday, we very much doubt it will drop any lower, so it's a good idea to snap it up now while stocks last.

With the impending release of the iPad Air 4 this month, it looks like retailers are trying to offload stock of the previous model. That's a good thing! With the base price costing $100/£100 less than the iPad Air 4, 2019's 10.5-inch iPad Air 3 is well worth considering if you're fine to leave the newer model's creativity and business features to one side but still want a high-performing tablet.

Right now, as part of the Prime Day deals 2020 promotion, Amazon Prime members in the UK can pick up the silver 64GB iPad Air (3rd Gen) for £413.10, more than 10% off and beating the best ever price by a decent margin. If you want a model with a higher capacity, too, the space grey 256GB iPad Air (3rd Gen) is £544.50 for Prime Day, again its best ever price. These are both Wi-Fi versions of the tablet.

In our 4-star iPad Air 3 (2019) review, we described the tablet as the "underrated middle child" of Apple's range of slates. While it's only compatible with the first-gen iPad Pencil, it's got a beautiful screen, and is a great 2-in-1 productivity tablet if you think you'll use it for that. It goes without saying, of course, that it's also a great way to experience entertainment apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, as well as the various games on Apple Arcade.
